Established in 2012, the Association for Women Empowerment Cameroon ( AWEC) is a women non-profit and awareness-raising organization working with and for women and young girls economic empowerment in all spheres of life.
Association for Women Empowerment Cameroon (AWEC) participated at a workshop organized by ARCADIA and Orange Cameroon. The over 300 participants were trained on "How to understand and use Different forms of Digital Marketing in the development of an online presence" At Orange Technical Headquarters Makepe Douala.
Association for Women Empowerment Cameroon (AWEC) was among those trained by Vision In Action Cameroon during a two days “CAPACITY BUILDING ON HIV PREVENTION FOR ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG WOMEN.” Participants were trained on the different way in which adolescent girls can prevent HIV transmission and also how HIV transmission could be prevented from mother to child during pregnancy, breastfeeding and during the birth process.
